My husband and I were presented with a surprise 2 night bed and breakfast stay from our children. The hotel setting is lovely. Our room was really nice with a very comfortable bed. The staff were always so friendly and eager to please. My spa treatment was amazing. The pool, sauna hot tubs (inside and outside) were great. We throughly enjoyed our much needed break and we're looking forward to another stay in the not too distant future.
Downstairs room opened into garden with a small table and chairs just outside the room to enjoy the sunshine. Restaurant is beautiful with a lovely tranquil feel and food was very good. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Didn't get time to visit the pool and spa as we decided to go into Tenby which is a short drive away or approximately 20-30 min walk. Made the most of the weather and had a good paddle in the sea on castle beach.
My wife and I recently had the most wonderful special time at Heywood Hotel Spa. We stayed for two nights and despite being the only guests checked in, the hotel hosted us to an exemplary standard! Nothing was too much trouble and where in a tough economic world, most hotels would often cancel a booking in these circumstances, the staff made us feel like it was our own private hotel! Mandy & Carmen, the concierges took care of all our needs and Illana served us very attentively for our meals. Whilst the rooms don't have any special features, they are very comfortable and open out onto the garden on the ground floor. The spa is quite basic, but it's suited all our needs really which was to wind down and be taken care of and pampered. There is also a lovely lounge to relax in. My wife had a reflexology treatment which she really enjoyed. The food was also delicious, the chefs are very careful and everything was gorgeous- especially the curries! I would highly recommend this for a personal attentive experience, a relaxed atmosphere and good food. We'll be back!!
Lovely time at the heywood, Sean was so pleasant and lovely to chat to, also the lovely ladies at reception. We did use outside heated tub 45deg, brilliant, if the owners would put a umbrella up over the tub we would have stayed in it longer, great fun. Definitely go back, good value for money and great food
Heywood spa hotel is a hidden gem. Beautiful setting. Food, travelled world wide, you wouldn't have better. Tranquil, so relaxing, Spa treatments are top class. Looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommend.
Really nice hotel. Lovely staff. Good breakfast. Excellent swimming pool and outdoor jacuzzi which was never busy. We stayed in rooms on the first floor which overlooked the gardens - very quiet rooms (apart from other guests banging their doors!). Very relaxing stay. I would strongly recommend this hotel.
My husband and myself had a truly wonderful weekend break here for my birthday. The staff were amazing but one stood out for us and that was Sean. Amazing, attentive and nothing was too much trouble for him, Sean is a credit to this hotel and desrves a mention. A lemon cake with a candle was brought out to me after we had a meal there on our first night. This just added to a lovely first night experience. The receptionist on our arrival was friendly and really pleasant and welcoming. She showed us the way to our room and told us we had complementary upgrade to our room. This was a lovely surprise and the room was gorgeous even with its own balcony. Food in the restaurant is just divine and so delicious that it left us wanting more of the food experience. Sunday dining was the best food we'd ever tasted, I had the fish of the day and husband had the roast Lamb, he said it was the best meal he'd had all weekend. Breakfast is also good with a good choice to choose from. Truly wonderful weekend in a fabulous hotel, offering a good choice of spa treatments, a lovely pool and jacuzzi.
